It´s a bit sad to hear Alex always see a "woke" conspiracy at work, without any evidence for it, when more profane things can be used to explain things even better. Most Americans care much more about sports than about politics and actual wars of their all professional military. Biden faced a choice: Free the unknown white male marine or the black female basketball star. Yes, race and gender have certainly were factored into the decison, but the stardom alone (and the possible voting decision of Griner´s fans) already bought the ticket.
Likewise Twitter doesn´t need orders by government officials ot shadowban users – the like´s and dislikes of big ad sponsors are enough.
