September 6, 2022

So it's more market manipulation to keep prices higher. Great
People are not consumers anymore they are fasting on buying junk just necessary stuff
I feel the port of Mobile, AL is underused. I went to college there and the docks never seemed very busy.
Nobody cares, it's California.
the mountains trap too much pollution in California. Thus, ports in areas with mountains should not have ever been built. Time for other ports to take over the work on the west coast
I watched this video first then went back a year and watched your video "governments going to help with port backlog; we're in trouble". Well, apparently, the govts help DID help. Maybe if Bidens "Build Back Better" had not been blocked/voted down by Republican trumpies, the back log would not have been so bad, not as long, or maybe not at all. Afterall, most of the issues you mention were "infrastructure". But thats o.k. We were able to fix it for you without the republican help.
In the previous video you mentioned developing NAS Alameda into a port but that would take alot of INFRASTRURE development…which was voted down….and would take YEARS to complete now that the democrats have passed something all by themselves.
You also mention the "insane amount of money they are making"—thats where the costs are being passed onto to everyday citizens. Net profits of $30 billion. Correlate that with the $30 billion oil and gas compaines earned in a SINGLE QUARTER…and you wonder why you are paying so much for gas. HA!
Then add in all the unions taking turns going on strike to milk even more money from each of us.
You should be glad "the government" did step in.
Lastly, you started the video with "we're in trouble" because the government is stepping in, then ended up closing by complaining there was not a single maritime governmental person in charge….which is it–you want the government involved or not?
You are welcomed for our government involved. We are always available to come in and save the day!
Do you think California liberal policies on trucking has anything to do with this also? Seems like CA is killing truckers
Monkey werx shows ocean shipping. Looks like chyna is stacked deep w container ships.
About a hundred miles offshore congregating until their cue comes up—at least that’s my understanding from a few months ago.
Who cares where the ships are at, most come out of China and my middle finger goes out to communist China!
Hopefully back to China where they belong, it's time to end this outsourcing crap and bring jobs back to America,, hmm who else said that 🤔
AFTER SECRETARY PETE GOT DONE BRESTFEEDING THE BABY HE GOT THINGS GOING….
Probably went to the highest bidder I would imagine that Biden and his son are looking for extra money so they sell it on the black market I wouldn't put nothing past this Democrat dictatorship
Hurricane!
CA needs to be held accountable for all those billions of dollars of items lost. It is directly CA's fault. All of the thefts of those trains that sat for years, every package you ordered from AliExpress and Wish that never arrived, every single one. The CA government must pay, out of their own pockets, for.
It's easy electricity an water dint work well so they are probably asking Elon to fund a work around for the electric boats an when they will get them , lmao great insight thank u for your time an explanation
Trump singed an order before he left about forien goods . look it up
Just got back from Rosarito Mexico for a surgery my wife underwent and off the shores of there were many large ships 🚢 but about 3 days in , suddenly half or more of those ships had been sailed on to somewhere else, it was strange seeing all those ships when we were there.
THE PROBLEM IS
1.THE UNIONS (AV5); INDEPENDENT TRUCKERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ACCESS THE PORT UNLESS THEY PAY A PREMIUM WHICH MAKES THE JOB NOT PROFITABLE TO HAUL.
2. OUT OF THE 335 MAJOR PORTS IN THE WORLD; LONG BEACH AND SAN DIEGO WERE LISTED AT 329 AND 332 RESPECTIVELY. THERE ARE PORTS IN AFRICA THAT ARE MORE EFFICIENT.
WE HAVE TO LISTEN ABOUT WHAT HEROES WE HAVE WORKING AT THOSE 2 PORTS. TRUST ME, THEY ARE NOT HEROES
We need more manufacturing jobs in USA then this would nor happen n peeps have jobs win win for us
The entire problem with the shipping industry can be summed up in two words: “Jones act”
Great video, interesting information, I agree the rates will unlikely be the same as pre-covid, just like car pricing and dealer supply being controlled going forward. You mention only 7 major shipping companies, so basically, they control all the ocean freight and hence have the world at their mercy. What are the top 3-5 shipping co? are any of them American.
It was just a Biden/ / Union political stunt. It put supply chain pictures in everyone's brain and then just vaporized. Now they can use supply chain about anything and people believe it.
