No right-leaning outlets, Fox News Politics, the Daily Wire, the Daily Caller, etc… is considered “reliable” by Wikipedia. None.
But even some of the most extreme leftist outlets get a “reliable” badge — like “Jacobin,” a self-described SOCIALIST outlet.
Vox, Buzzfeed News, and Slate are also deemed “reliable” by Wikipedia. Editors may base stories on their reporting.
Why did Wikipedia become so biased? Veteran Wikipedian Jonathan Weiss tells me that the site, like academia, has been captured by leftists.
Some Wikipedia administrators even brag on their profiles, “this user is a socialist.” Another put up images idolizing communist murderers Che Guevara and Vladimir Lenin.
These administrators make final decisions about what counts as “reliable,” and what goes on Wikipedia.
That’s why for years, Wiki’s “communism” page made NO mention of the millions killed by that ideology.
US border facilities are listed under “concentration camps,” on the same page as Wikipedia’s holocaust facilities.
Can we fix this? Wikipedia is supposed to be a site that “anyone can edit,” so I made an edit. You can find out what happened in the video above.
This makes me sad.
Wikipedia is definitely ran lefties and sjws.
and it is for that reason is why i tell my kids to never use a wiki as a source for school work or anything at all
The problem is that the left is obsessed with controlling everything, the right just wants to be left alone. This doesn't bode well for objectivity on public run sites.

I still use it but I check the links and sources and other media post, other searches by Yahoo, and don't be afraid to check foreign media as sometimes, they say the truth

Internment camps and concentration camps are not the same as death camps. There were only a handful of death camps compared to the concentration camps in WW2
I stopped donating too and agree it is totally biased!
Before you know it Wikipedia will be describing Jesus Christ as a "fictional character" just like Alexa did.
And that is why I do not donate!
This became obvious to me a long time ago and I too quit donating.
This is why we can't have nice things
I would say that the only real method to correct it is then just to continually repost the same correction repeatedly. if it is something you care about, meaning being fully truthful, make it a hill to die on. force them to go out of their way to anticipate your correction and put all of their attention upon changing it back. do that on every post that is overtly politically biased.
Don't permit THEM to be the author of the overall narrative, otherwise, you really do get the "Good Truth" of 1984".

Thank you Stossel for bringing this to the front. I stopped donating a while back and told them why.
I stopped donating too Wiki too…. It’s bias was clearly evident more than a decade ago, but maybe like the interviewee says, more involvement (is key) by center and rightish wing people could bring Wiki back to a usable / credible information source. However, the super editors are the problem and what ever the source that grants their status as a super editor with in Wiki.

It's amazing how far the Left has gone. They have a guy who has only ever voted for Democrats and a Green party candidate to call himself a centrist. He's solidly on the left, but he's just not a crazy radical like the other Wikipedia editors.
The entire corporate media complex including socials are totally corrupt. Section 230 needs to go and the large MSM companies need to be broken up.
